In our 2009 trip, Vegas was putting the final touches on the massive CityCenter project along the middle of the Strip. Now it’s open, and we take a monorail from the adjacent Bellagio to browse about. This is outside the entrance to the Aria, one of three hotels within the complex (a fourth, the Harmon Hotel, has yet to open and may actually be torn down because of construction issues); in the foreground is part of a 250-foot long, 24-foot high waterfall over a pebbled rock wall.
