For travelers riding Interstate 70 towards its terminus in western Utah, they’d better take a good look at this Conoco sign—and their gas gauge: There are no services west of here for 106 miles. After being wowed by one spectacular sight after another for the past two days (and three nights) around Moab, the stretch of Interstate that connects us to the Bryce-Zion region marks a return to scenery worthy of a repetitious yawn.
