We got the sense that Canyonlands National Park is a poor cousin of sorts to Arches; even on a Saturday, there were relatively far fewer visitors to a place with an entry fee half that of Arches (though to be fair, there are two entry points to Canyonlands, 80 miles apart). Perhaps the haze had something to do with the low turnout as well. This is from Grandview Point, the Canyonlands’ most spectacular view at the southern tip of the park’s Island in the Sky.
