Ahoy, Shipwreck!

Clouds and cool showers left over from the previous evening’s thunderstorm draped our main destination for the day, Mesa Verde National Park in southwest Colorado, for much of the morning before clearing. From the visitor center, we did espy this hazy panorama of the land stretching into New Mexico to the south; focus on the middle and you’ll see, out in the distance, a faint silhouette of Shipwreck Rock.
