With the skies clearing in the afternoon, we take advantage of Mesa Verde’s summit, Park Point, to enjoy panoramic views such as this one looking northwest back toward Cortez (in the foreground) and Utah’s Abajo Point, 11,360 feet high and barely visible some 75 miles away.
