We had to look hard, and that was becoming a common theme in this park; amid the boulders and other rocky crags below a viewpoint we stood at, we caught a wall of petroglyph graffiti called Newspaper Rock, etched out up to 2,000 years ago. As to what the drawings mean, nobody knows.
