Why Did the Dust Devil Cross the Road?

Because it was too big and mean to care about oncoming traffic. As the high plateau towards Winslow became increasingly dusty, dust devils were bound to form, and this one was big enough to survive crossing two strips of pavement intact to the other side. We only hope the cars that survived direct contact didn’t have new paint jobs.
