Rails on the Rim
Bright Angel Lodge, Grand Canyon, AZ
Or for a quarter mile or so, anyway. When we first heard that there was a railroad on the South Rim, we thought it might be something that jogged completely along the rim for five miles or so before turning back. But the Grand Canyon Railway actually has no view of the Canyon and goes 50 miles round-trip to Williams, allowing another option for visitors to visit the park for a day. Judging from this picture, one thing is for sure: Business isn’t slow.
