Hoping for Hopi
Near Maricopa Point, Grand Canyon, AZ
Looking out from above the Bright Angel trailhead as the lowering sun begins to bring the dramatic, world-famous shadowing to the North Rim. We were waiting for a shuttle to take us to the Canyon’s most popular sunset viewpoint, Hopi Point, but we had to abort when Rachel started experiencing sharp pains in her stomach. Thanks goodness for a second day at the Canyon.
