The Rugged Foothills

As crisp air turns thick, as fir trees cede to oaks, we wind our way down west of Yosemite into the Sierra foothills and glimpse the Tuolumne Canyon, scarred by recent fires. At the bottom of the canyon is the Tuolumne River, last seen in beautiful Tuolumne Meadows.
