Tuolumne Meadow
Mile 2,821, Yosemite National Park, CA
For Michelle, Tuolumne Meadow is probably the closest thing to Heaven on Earth; she could retire and die here if she had the chance. (Though at nearly 9,000 feet, it could get pretty chilly here in winter.) For me, it’s the far softer but equally picturesque side of Yosemite, one I only got introduced to only in the last ten years after focusing for so long on Yosemite Valley.
