The summit on Highway 12 in Utah and Bryce Canyon’s Yovimpa Point (both at over 9,000 feet) gave it their best shot, but the prize for the highest elevation obtained on this trip goes to the eastern entrance into Yosemite National Park, which as shown here is a mere 55 feet shy of 10,000. The reflectors on the booth are going wild because, for some reason, my flash was activated.
