Bring Me the Head of Vladimir Lenin

Outside of the Red Square restaurant at Mandalay Bay is a statue featuring Communist Russia founder Vladimir Lenin—sans head. The owners reportedly chopped it off in keeping with the trend of other Soviet-era statues losing their heads. The head was stolen and then found at a thrift store in Vegas. Red Square is stationed next to our favorite Vegas watering hole, Rum Jungle, and along the torturous path to the Mandalay parking garage, a full quarter mile from our room; it took three round trips to carry all of our baggage, etc. up. (You can have it valet’d up, but it will cost you.)
