The Trop

One of the original resorts on the Strip, the Tropicana was where I stayed for my first Vegas venture in 2005—and Michelle’s as well, when I brought her here in late 2006. There is a retro feeling to the place—and, as Michelle likes to joke, retro air, which you probably don’t want to breathe too much of. They do have one of the nicer pools in Vegas, though. As if the Strip needs more hotel rooms, the Tropicana is planning a major expansion and upgrade.
