The corner view of the New York New York resort. The wild rollercoaster ride, which I took in 2005, has been reduced six dollars to $14 per ride. Through some uncanny omen, the resort opened in 1997 with facades of famous New York City buildings—but not the World Trade Center. The vicious events of 9-11 forced the deletion of a scene from the remake of Ocean’s Eleven in which the NYNY is brought down in an explosion.
