Just a few miles south of St. George on Interstate 15, we find ourselves back in Arizona for a cameo appearance of 30 miles—most of it through the imposing Virgin River Gorge, and that’s perhaps the first time I’ve used the words ‘imposing’ and ‘virgin’ in the same sentence.
