We cut through desert foothills and come face-to-face with Las Vegas, home to silicon, slots and fully qualified female strumpets. For the kids, the sight holds special interest; this is their first time to Vegas and, after bragging about the wonderful pool facilities and other wow factors that we’ve promised them, they’re salivating to get here—especially after two weeks of OD’ing on canyons, mesas and red rocks.
