From Hoover Dam, we beeline it to a cheap lunch on the Strip, and I thought there wouldn’t be a more fun introduction to Vegas for the kids than taking them to the food court at New York, New York—which, with its miniature yet marvelous recreation of all things Gotham, is to me the closest thing resembling something you’d stumble upon at Disneyland. They loved it.
