Caught Red-Handed

From the north end of the canyon’s scenic drive, we take the Riverside Walk trail and find nature’s most visible friends to be the chipmunks, including this one having a little nosh. Given the large number of “hikers” on this early, easy paved portion of the trail, it’s likely that much of the food taken advantage of by the chipmunks is provided by the humans.
