Spacious Yet Lean

We earlier mentioned that Zion’s visitor center spared its history exhibits, etc. for the nearby Human History Museum; what’s left here are a series of informational kiosks, a large topographical relief model of the park, a gift shop and, most curiously, two “downdraft cooltowers” that provide natural ventilation to keep energy costs down. It was built in 2000.
