Sunrise Over Tropic

This near-evangelical view of Tropic, eight miles east and 1,800 feet downward of Bryce Canyon, presents us with the one place close enough to evade the monopolistic net of Ruby’s Inn, and where we had a very nice dinner the night before—though, alas, the pictures I took at Clarke’s Restaurant became the only ones on the trip that accidentally got erased.
