The Watchman Looks Down Upon You

Rising some 2,600 feet above the Quality Inn pool is the Watchman, one of Zion’s more recognizable trademarks among those entering the park from the west. You could do much better (but probably worse) than the Quality Inn in Springdale, which sits adjacent to Zion’s west entrance. The town is clearly the best choice to stay, eat and shop if you’re hanging around Zion, though it’s best advised that you buy your groceries someplace where they’re bound to be cheaper.
