Day on the Zion Green

If there was a better spot to sit down, relax and eat in the Zion Canyon than under the large oak in front of the Zion Lodge, we didn’t find it. Shade can be tough to find when the temperature rises to 100 (as it did while we were present). The beauty of coming to Zion, for me, was that I didn’t quite know what to expect; what I found was something akin to Yosemite, with colorful but not-quite-as-towering rocks rising out of the canyon.
