Soaked in Irony
Ruby’s Inn (left) and Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Michelle, the family environmentalist, rang the alarm bells after being exposed to these two sights: A night of nonstop watering on the Ruby’s Inn Lodge’s extensive lawn (carried into the morning), and a sign next door at Bryce Canyon's Rainbow Point. Our investigation went as far as the Ruby’s Inn Lodge lobby, where they explained that they receive no water from the State of Utah, and instead pump up their own from a very extensive water table. We never got a park ranger to give Bryce’s dry side of the story.
