At the Edge of Bryce
Mile 2,039, Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
At the end of the road and a little further via trail, we come to the south end of Bryce Canyon—and a staggering view from Yovimpa Point, as shown here in Cinerama. The small volcano-like shape towards the left is named Molly’s Nipple, which leaves me to wonder what Molly must have thought. Way, way off in the distance, is the upper plateau that ends with the Grand Canyon’s North Rim, no closer than 70 miles away.
