T-Minus Five Minutes

Trying to stay on the clock as the rest of the family filtered into the minivan at 5:30 in the morning, I quickly snapped this shot (and the quality shows) of our touring vehicle with a clean wash and a clean bill of health. My breakfast consisted of a banana on the run; when I chucked it out the side window on the freeway a few minutes later, my 10-year old daughter Rachel half-joked, “I hope a car doesn’t slip on it.”
