Tee it Up

In the trip’s first daily edition of “What the heck is that,” we come across a geodesic golf ball structure some 25 miles away from our evening pit stop at Kingman. I had two immediate impressions of what it could be: A test facility of some sort, or an indoor water park. It actually is someone’s home, some 30 years after it was originally built as a restaurant/lounge by someone who apparently had delusions of grandeur of making a killing in the middle of nowhere.
